Usually clean. After prolonged storage, it may become infested (Illustration 205). Check to see if it looks nibbled, if there are deposits, webbing on the inside of the package, or an insect or worm (Illustrations 206, 207).
If the chocolate turned whitish, this does not indicate infestation, (Illustration 208).
