Bulghur wheat

1.Coarse bulghur
A.Strain over a white surface, using a rice strainer. Inspect the powder that has fallen through for small worms. If infestation is found, do not use.
B.Spread out what remains in the strainer on a white surface and check between the particles. If infestation is found – don’t use (Illustration 176).
2.Fine bulghur (grisha)
Spread out a thin layer on a white surface and check for small insects, worms, or webbing between the pieces. If infestation is found, the bulghur should not be used
