1. Soup powder that comes in a sturdy container, is produced by a first-rate company, and is bought in a store with a high turnover rate is presumed clean and does not have to be checked. Once it has been opened, it should be kept refrigerated.
2. Soup powder that is old or that comes in a poor quality container: When opening the container, check for sticky webbing hanging from the inner walls. Before mixing the powder with other ingredients, it is recommended to spread it out on a plate and check it or to dissolve it in hot water and check whether any insects float in the water.
